Jennifer Pawlett

Registered Midwife

My name is Jennifer Pawlett and I am a graduate of the McMaster University Midwifery Education Program.  Prior to entering midwifery, I completed an honour’s degree in Bio-Medical Science at the University of Guelph. I am originally from North Bay, Ontario and have family in the Ottawa area. I have always had an interest in the health care field and initially became interested in midwifery during my undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph. From a scientific perspective, I find the creation of new life to be fascinating and the more I learn about the philosophies and ideals of midwifery, the more I felt this would be the career choice for me.  I love the opportunity to work with women in this important stage of their lives and to see their families grow.  I look forward to taking part in your care.
